The police say they’ve found the Honda motor vehicle of murdered medical doctor, Martin Garwood.

Head of the Corporate Communications Unit of the Jamaica Constabulary Force, Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay, says the vehicle was found in Queen Hill, St. Andrew.

In a statement last evening, the police say residents saw the motor vehicle in their community and alerted them.

The statement says the vehicle was taken to the lab for processing.

Superintendent Lindsay says detectives are still trying to figure out to figure out how Dr. Garwood was killed. She says his killer may be some who was known to him.

And Superintendent Lindsay says medical professionals should be to be on the look out and check their records for anyone seeking assistance for stab wounds or lacerations.

She says based on evidence at the scene, somebody else may have recieved serious injuries during the incident.

Dr. Garwood’s body was found on Wednesday at his home in Barbican, St. Andrew. He appeared to have been stabbed multiple times.

There’s been an outpouring of grief following his killing.
