Water restrictions in the Corporate Area are widening as drought continues to impact the island.
The latest communities to be impacted are Annette Crescent and Washington Drive, off Waterloo Road in St. Andrew.
National Water Commission has announced that going forward, the communities will only receive piped water twice per week.
The regulated supply schedule is Tuesday and Friday each week, from 3 pm to 9 pm.
NWC says the measure has become necessary to better manage the limited supply available.
As of Thursday, September 24, the Mona Reservoir was at 34. per cent of capacity. The Heritage Dam, meanwhile, was at 40.3 per cent.
NWC is urging residents to store water and conserve where possible for use during non-supply periods.
It says while every effort will be made to maintain the schedule, factors beyond its control may cause minor disruptions.
