Country music star Dolly Parton has died.
The 11-time Grammy winner was 80.
She was born January 19, 1946.
Parton’s nephew and her longtime head of security, Bryan Seaver, confirmed her passing in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
Parton cancelled a Las Vegas show in May, and announced that she’d been undergoing treatment for kidney stones for several years.
During her more than 60-year career, Parton sold more than 1-hundred million records, making her one of the best-selling musical performers of all time.
Among her long list of popular hits are 9 to 5, Jolene, and I will Always Love You.
Parton also became a star on the silver screen, gaining critical acclaim to movies like 9 to 5, Steel Magnolias and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
