The Court Administration Division, CAD, is urging traffic offenders not to visit the court to pay their traffic fines until after the 21 day expiration period.

On Monday, Head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, PSTEB, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gary McKenzie, said the interim order for paying all traffic fines at the court, should end by mid-week.

He denied claims by members of the public that there was chaos at the traffic court.

But Director of Client Services, Communications and Information at CAD, Kadiesh Fletcher, says people have been showing up to the court, before the expiration date of their tickets.

The CAD is asking members of the public to desist from visiting court offices before their respective court dates.
