Jamaica’s Covid-19 positivity rate is at 17.5 per cent.
In the Health Ministry’s latest update, 396 samples were tested. Of that number, 65 returned positive results.
A total of 446 Jamaicans are still in home quarantine. Two Covid-19 deaths, which were previously under investigation, are recorded.
Eighty-three people have recovered from the virus.
The number of people hospitalised with Covid-19 has risen to 119. Thirty-five are moderately ill, seven are severely ill and three are considered critical.
Eighty-two per cent of those hospitalised are unvaccinated. Just over 96 per cent of those who’ve died of Covid are also unvaccinated.
