The country’s COVID-19 positivity rate stands at just under 18%.

That’s according to the Ministry of Health’s latest update.

It follows the confirmation of 57 positive samples from the 327 samples tested.

33 of the 57 cases were recorded in Kingston and St. Andrew.

3 deaths were also recorded in the update.

More than 3-thousand Jamaicans have died from COVID-19, while more than 90-thousand have recovered from the virus.

113 Jamaicans are hospitalised with COVID-19; 29 are moderately ill, 12 are severely ill and 6 are considered critical.

More than 80% of those who are hospitalised are unvaccinated.
