A curfew that was imposed in Central Village, St. Catherine has been extended.

It continues from 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 12 until 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 14.

The boundaries of the curfew are north along the Nelson Mandela Highway from Central Way to the entrance to Twickenham Scheme (McNeil Boulevard), approximately 78 metres.

It runs south along the northern bank of the Rio Cobre from the western border to the eastern border.

It will run also along an imaginary line from the Nelson Mandela Highway running along McNeil Boulevard across a dirt track onto Central Road then to the northern bank of the Rio Cobre.

The curfew’s eastern boundary runs along an imaginary line from the Nelson Mandela Highway running along Central Way to the northern bank of the Rio Cobre.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises unless otherwise authorised in writing by the ground commander.
