West Rural St. Andrew Member of Parliament, the Jamaica Labour Party’s, Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn, says crucial steps are being taken to address long standing water problems in her constituency.

Mrs. Cuthbert Flynn says the tank will serve other sections of the constituency including the nearby Fraser Road area.

The West Rural St. Andrew MP was making her contribution to the Constituency Debate in the House of Representatives yesterday.

Mrs. Cuthbert-Flynn told the House that steps are also being taken to help constituents find more peaceful ways of resolving conflicts.

She also commended the Health Ministry for responding to her plea to renovate the Health Centre in Stony Hill.

She says plans are underway to upgrade other health centres in the constituency.

The West Rural St. Andrew MP also called on the authorities to dedicate some of the new trucks which are being obtained to alleviate garbage collection challenges in her constituency.
