The Caribbean Examinations Council is urging examination candidates across the region to approach the upcoming May-June 2026 session with confidence and self-care.
In a video message released to candidates, parents, teachers, and education stakeholders, CXC Registrar and CEO Dr Wayne Wesley told students to use their study time wisely and to look after their mental well-being.
He also advised them to eat well and and rest when needed.
CXC was established in 1972 to design and administer an indigenous assessment system that reflects the realities, aspirations, and sovereign identity of the Caribbean people.
It administers the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination, Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate, Caribbean Vocational Qualification, Caribbean Certificate of Secondary Level Competence, and Caribbean Primary Exit Assessment.
