Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness, says the government must address the issue of the migration of criminals from hot spots in Kingston and St. Catherine, to rural parts of the island.

He says this is necessary, given the high incidence of violent crimes being committed in usually quiet parts of rural parishes.

Mr. Holness recently met with Police Commissioner, Dr. Carl Williams to discuss the Constabulary’s response to the spike in murders.

He says the meeting highlighted the difficulties being faced by the police, due to the lack of reforms in the justice system.
