The driver of a mini bus who was caught on video attempting to open the gates to enter the Bog Walk Gorge during heavy rains has been charged.
Garth Brown who was the driver of the bus seen on video last week was charged this afternoon by the St. Catherine Police.
He has been charged with Malicious Destruction of Government Property, Conspiracy to Destroy Government Property and Accessory Before and After the Fact.
Another man, Glenroy Denton was was also charged last week.
Denton was charged with Malicious Destruction of Government Property and Accessory Before and after the Fact.
Brown who was taken in today and charged has been offered station bail.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
Denton is also set to appear in Court on Thursday October 6.
Prime Minister Andrew Holness while Parliament recently speaking on the damage caused by the outer bands of Tropical storm Ian condemned the actions of the men.
He noted that the persons involved should face the full force of the law.
