Former Tivoli Gardens strongman, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, has refused a request by the Office of the Public Defender, to testify in the ongoing West Kingston Commission of Enquiry.

The revelation was made today by the attorney for the Office of the Public Defender, Lord Anthony Gifford.

The former Public Defender, Earl Witter, had recommended in his interim report that Coke give evidence at the proceedings.

But while leading Mr. Witter in his evidence in chief today, Lord Gifford told the Commission, that efforts to have Coke testify have been unsuccessful.
