Principal of Edwin Allen High, Jermaine Harris, has credited both the Ministry of Education and initiatives by the school for the massive improvement in its pass rate for CSEC Mathematics in 2025.
Edwin Allen High recorded a 74.1 pass rate in CSEC maths this year, up from 25.4 percent in 2024.
The Clarendon-based institution was a part of the education ministry’s National School Learning and Intervention Plan, NSLIP.
Principal Harris says Edwin Allen launched its intervention plans for mathematics shortly after the release of last year’s results.
