The new Co-Chairman of the Economic Programme Oversight Committee, Keith Duncan, says EPOC will make greater use of social media to communicate with Jamaicans about the country’s fiscal and economic realities and goals.

He made the disclosure as he led his first press conference yesterday as Co-Chairman of EPOC.

He says this will be done so Jamaicans can better understand the country’s economic realities.

In the meantime, he says EPOC will continue to provide monthly updates to the country on how it’s performing in relation to the targets of the IMF programme.

He says more fulsome quarterly reports will be provided.

He also gave details of how reporting will be done in relation to the Economic Growth Council and Public Sector Transformation Oversight Committee.
