Farmers, fisherfolk and micro-business owners impacted by Hurricane Melissa are set to benefit from cash grants valued at a total of $192 million thanks to a joint programme between the Ministry of Agriculture and the Jamaica Red Cross.

The announcement was made during a ceremony at the agriculture ministry’s head office in Hope Gardens, St. Andrew on Tuesday.
