State Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister, Senator Abka Fitz-Henley, says he’s confident the National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority, NaRRA, will deliver the desired results, despite what he calls a coordinated smear campaign being pursued by members of the Opposition PNP and their surrogates.
Minister Fitz-Henley made the comment while speaking to members of the diaspora media community in New York City earlier on Friday.
He’s in New York City attending the American Friends of Jamaica Gala.

Minister Fitz Henley pulled no punches as he defended NaRRA against recent criticism about its operations, cost of its headquarters and remuneration of its CEO, Major General Antony Anderson.
He says while some would want to paint a picture of a government that has done nothing for the people since Melissa struck, the statistics tell a different tale.
Minister Fitz-Henley told his audience that the government is welcoming of the intense scrutiny being directed at all matters concerning NaRRA.
He says his confidence in NaRRA is supported by the care with which the government set about the task of choosing the executive leadership of the agency and putting in place strong oversight.
Minister Fitz Henley told his audience that Opposition Leader, Mark Golding is helping to fan the flames of myths and misinformation which have previously been addressed by the Holness administration.
