The Holness administration has completed a US$56-million project aimed at improving and protecting the country’s shoreline to withstand future natural disasters.

That’s according to Science, Energy and Transport Minister, Daryl Vaz.

Minister Vaz was speaking at Wednesday’s post-Cabinet media briefing at Jamaica House.

The Palisadoes Peninsula Shoreline Protection and Rehabilitation project is designed to protect the road connecting Kingston to Norman Manley International Airport and Port Royal.

Minister Vaz says the project is expected to fall under the National Reconstruction and Resilience Authority, NaRRA.
