The government has revised regulations to make it easier to import pets.
Industry Minister, Karl Samuda, made the announcement at a press conference yesterday. He says previously only pets from the United Kingdom could be brought into Jamaica through the British High Commission.
Minister Samuda says the new regulations will allow people to bring in their pets from ‘many other’ countries.

He didn’t name the other countries from which people will be able to import their pets. But he explained the basis for the revision of the regulations.
