Member of Parliament for South West Clarendon, Noel Arscott says the JLP government should do more to stem the flow of guns from the United States into the country. 

He says an influx of guns in the country’s contributing to the high levels of gun and gang violence.

Mr Arscott says Jamaica should seek to have the US address the issue in a more direct way.

The Opposition MP says the bulk of illegal munition to Jamaica are coming from the US, he insists intervention is needed from the gun producing nation.
