Youth and Culture Minister Lisa Hanna is recuperating at home, after being involved in a motor vehicle crash along the Spanish Town to Kingston leg of Highway 2000 about 11pm.

She’s understood to have suffered bruising and other minor injuries.

Minister Hanna posted a message on her Instagram page thanking persons for their concern and prayers.

Declaring that God is great, Minister Hanna says she was on the passenger side in the front of the vehicle.

She says she was able to walk out of the vehicle and was taken to hospital.

Its understood she was on her way from a political meeting in Bellefield in St. Elizabeth.

Head of the Police Traffic Division, Senior Superintendent of Police Calvin Allen, says the accident is still being investigated.
