The MP for Western Hanover, Ian Hayles, says Opposition Leader Andrew Holness, is a hypocrite who’s unfit to serve another term as Prime Minister.
Mr. Hayles launched a blistering attack on Mr. Holness at a PNP mass rally in Portmore, St. Catherine on Sunday.
Ian Hayles and Andrew Holness were at one time brothers in arms inside the Jamaica Labour Party.
But any friendship between the pair has long dissipated, following Hayles’ switch to the PNP and subsequent victory in the constituency of Western Hanover in the 2007 general elections.
On Sunday, Hayles ripped into Holness, again drawing attention to the mansion being built by the Opposition Leader in the affluent community of Beverly Hills.
According to Hayles, Holness cannot be sincere about improving national security under a JLP administration, when his own house is being built as a fortress.
Ian Hayles also attacked Holness over his demand for Dr. Fenton Ferguson to be sacked as Health Minister at the height of the dead babies scandal.
According to Hayles, Andrew Holness has proven himself to be a weak leader.
