As the Andrew Holness-led administration pushes for higher levels of productivity across the labour force, Prime Minister Dr Andrew Holness says efficiency needs to be among the list of values for which the country is renowned.
Dr Holness raised the issue at a meeting with the Jamaican diaspora in Guyana last Friday.
Prime Minister Holness says Jamaica’s cultural prowess pales in comparison to its business attributes.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Holness says the Jamaican workforce needs to evolve past the state of victimhood inherited by slavery.
