Communications Manager at the National Works Agency, NWA, Stephen Shaw says drain cleaning for this hurricane season will cost approximately half-a-billion dollars.

Mr.Shaw was speaking at the launch of Disaster Preparedness month at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel today.
He says the drainage cleaning initiative will take place in three phases.
