The Mona School of Business Management, MSBM, will partner with the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) and the Inter-American Development Bank, IDB, to explore the role of the stock exchange in developing the financial industry.

It’ll also focus on fostering economic growth by providing small and medium-sized entities access to investors.

This follows last year’s recognition of the JSE as the number 1 performing stock exchange in the world for 2015.

According to a release from MSBM, research that was done by a team from the institution will be explored at a roundtable discussion set for tomorrow morning.

It will feature over 70 senior Caribbean CEOs of public and private sector enterprises, policy makers, business strategists and entrepreneurs who will come together to examine trends, develop solutions and find ways to improve and sustain businesses.
