Prime Minister Andrew Holness today paid tribute to frontline workers who continue their efforts in combating COVID-19.

He made the tribute as part of his Heroes Day message.

The Prime Minister also paid tribute to modern day heroes who go above and beyond the call of duty.

Meanwhile, Opposition Leader, Dr. Peter Phillips, says in fighting COVID-19, Jamaicans can draw examples from our National Heroes.

He was delivering his Heroes Day message today.

He says the sacrifice of our modern day heroes should not be forgotten.
