Information Minister, Robert Morgan, says as a beneficiary of the salary increase, Prime Minister Andrew Holness is well within his rights to refuse the pay hike.
Minister Morgan also denies assertions that the Prime Minister’s rejection of the pay raise was hollow because he would still be paid at the new ministerial pay scale.
The Prime Minister is the Minister of Economic Growth and Job Creation.
And the Information Minister is defending the Andrew Holness-led administration’s record of accountability.
