President of the Jamaica Basketball Association, Paulton Gordon, is elated that more basketball will be played locally, come this November.
The Jersey Mike Jamaica Classic, featuring college basketball teams out of the United States, will be held in Montego Bay from November 17 to 20. Gordon is happy to have the tournament held in Jamaica for another year.
The JABA president also disclosed that they recently acquired a portable three on three basketball court that they intend to activate soon.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the Entertainment Advisory Board, at the Jamaica Tourist Board, Howard Macintosh, says the basketball classic is another opportunity to promote Jamaica.
Macintosh said Jamaica’s entertainment will be on show to the international audience.
