Cabinet Minister, Senator Matthew Samuda, has told a high level meeting in Vienna Austria that the Government has taken a focused and multi-dimensional approach to tackling the scourge of illegal drugs which threaten its borders.
Minister Samuda outlined the approach while he delivered Jamaica’s policy statement this morning during a meeting of the sixty third session of the United Nation’s Commission on Narcotic Drugs.
Minister Samuda told the Commission on Narcotic Drugs that Jamaica is of the view that the Commission is doing important work.
