The military base of the Jamaica Defence Force, JDF, is still on virtual shutdown, after two M-16 high-powered weapons went missing.
Chief of Defence Staff at the JDF, Lt Gen Rocky Meade told Nationwide News that entry and exit to the base is being confined as search intensify for the weapons.
Restrictions on exit are being partially relaxed to allow for departure after members are searched.
This is a developing story. We’ll have more in a subsequent newscast.
