Prime Minister and Jamaica Labour Party Leader, Andrew Holness says the party will be targeting several seats in Westmoreland in the next General Election.

The General Election is widely expected to be called this year.

Westmoreland is a parish that has been dominated by PNP representatives in Parliament for several decades.

The JLP Leader says he recalls that when he became Party Leader and focused on campaigning in Westmoreland, his actions were questioned.

Mr. Holness says it must be noted that the JLP performed well in Westmoreland during the most recent parish council election.

Ms. Davis is expected to square of with the PNP’s Ian Hayles in the next General Election.
