Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness, says private sector and civil society interests should have no fear that a JLP administration will be fiscally prudent in the management of the country’s affairs.

A partnership of private sector and civil society groups last week asked both the PNP and JLP to agree to continue implementing certain crucial policies after the next general elections.

PNP President and Prime Minister, Portia Simpson Miller says her party is ready to give its commitment.

Speaking last night at a JLP mass rally in Richmond, St. Mary, Mr. Holness says the guarantees being sought by the partners are consistent with the JLP’s own philosophy.
