President of the Jamaica Teacher’s Association, JTA, Owen Speid is calling for COVID-19 testing facilities to be placed in secondary schools to treat the reopening of the institutions.

Meanwhile, the JTA is still taking issue with the restricted reopening of schools this morning.

He’s encouraging students and teachers to adhere to the health protocols from the Ministry of Health.
