The Police are continuing their search for a man who allegedly poured a corrosive substance on his common law wife, killing her.

The incident happened in Clarendon, on Sunday.

Dead is 24 year old cashier Shelly-ann Morrison of Sunset Crescent, Four Paths, Clarendon.

While on the run is 43 year old Steve Francis.

It’s reported that Ms Morrison and Mr Francis were engaged in a dispute when the incident happened.

The dispute reportedly began, after Francis found out Ms Morrison was allegedly having an affair. 

Francis allegedly called his common law wife’s mother threatening he would kill her.

She was pronounced dead at hospital.

Inspector Shaunjaye Mitchell of the Constabulary’s Corporate Communications Unit, CCU, is pleading with Mr Francis to turn himself in to the Police.

Ms Morrison’s four year old daughter and two year old son were also injured in the attack.

Mitchell says the condition of the children are unknown.
