Attorney-at-law, Matondo Mukulu, has resigned as Deputy Public Defender and is to demit office at the end of this month.

His resignation comes six months after he was bypassed for the job of Public Defender by attorney-at-law, Arlene Harrison Henry in January.

In a letter to Mrs. Harrison Henry this week, Mr. Mukulu says that he’s leaving because he’s made his contribution to the process and will be returning to private practice.

Mr. Mukulu is brushing aside suggestions that he’s left because he wasn’t appointed Public Defender.
