Jamaica’s four-member team is in El Salvador for the International Surfing Association, ISA, World Surfing Games, taking place from May 30 to June 7.
Jamaica will be represented by three males and one female.
President of the Jamaica Surfing Association, Inilek Wilmot, emphasizes the importance of the surfers being in El Salvador early.
Jamaica is currently ranked 36th in the world, and Wilmot hopes they can climb at least 16 places.
