A Senior General Manager at NCB, Brian Boothe, says the company will reverse any late fees and charges for customers whose salaries were processed late as a result of issues with the bank’s upgrade.

Mr. Boothe says they’ll ensure customers aren’t penalized.

Boothe says the bank has made substantial progress over the weekend in rectifying the issues.

He says customers can now access their accounts in branch or at NCB ABMs.

The online banking platform is also now ready for online payments.

NCB customers whose staff are paid through other banks should also be able to access their accounts today.

Boothe adds that they’ve extended opening hours today and tomorrow for those who’ve been inconvenienced.

Meanwhile, the Senior Manager says the bank has learned from this experience.
