A new state of the art call centre being built by telecommunications company FLOW, promises to create approximately 350 new jobs.

The centre is being built in partnership with the Canadian based firm, Advantage Communications Limited.

The contract was signed between the two entities earlier today at FLOW’s Headquarters in Kingston.

It forms party of a USD$6-million investment by FLOW to repatriate its Customer Call Centre of Excellence to Jamaica.

The call centre will work in concert with FLOW’s facilities in Trinidad, with all calls originating from Jamaica to be handled by Jamaican agents.

The Chief Executive Officer of FLOW, Garry Sinclair, says phase one of the repatriation was completed in January and has seen approximately 100 persons employed.

The entire repatriation process is expected to be completed by mid year.
