The National Water Commission, NWC says it’s scaling back some operational activities at its St. Andrew based Marescaux Road branch as part of COVID- 19 precautionary measures.
In a statement, the NWC says deep cleaning and sanitization actions are now underway at the location.
It says the commercial office is housed separately from the operational division and remains open for business.
And, it says several commercial services can now be processed online at nwcjamaica.com.
The NWC says it has implemented COVID-19 mitigation measures at all its commercial offices in keeping with Health and Wellness Ministry guidelines.
It says those measures include deep cleaning, establishing hand sanitizing stations at various locations and the outfitting of offices with social distancing markers.
The NWC says mask-wearing is also mandatory.
And, its staff are continuously reminded to comply with the COVID- 19 measures.
