The Opposition PNP says it will be tabling additional questions in Parliament about the license issued to telecommunications company, Symbiote investments.

Symbiote is the country’s third mobile service provider.

It trades as Caricel.

Nationwide News disclosed last week that the Unites States visas of several associates of Caricel, including attorneys Minette Lawrence and Patrick Bailey, have been revoked.

The visas of Mrs. Lawrence’s husband and her 9-year old son have also been revoked.

So too the visa of another attorney who’s reportedly associated with Caricel.

Opposition Spokesman on Technology, Julian Robinson, says questions will be tabled in Parliament.

Last year, Contractor General, Dirk Harrison recommended in his report that Technology Minister, Dr Andrew Wheatley, revoke Caricel’s license.

The license was approved by Dr. Wheatley’s predecessor, Phillip Paulwell, in February.

Contractor General Harrison had raised concerns about a reportedly adverse intelligence report about George Neil, who is one of Caricel’s financiers.

Mr. Neil has since publicized a document signed by Deputy Police Commissioner in charge of crime, Glenmore Hinds, which says he’s not under investigation.
