Workers at the state-owned company PetCom Jamaica Limited have taken industrial action.

The workers say they haven’t received their clothing and uniform allowance which was due on April 1.

The National Workers Union, which represents drivers, sidemen, messengers, administrative and support staff, says the workers feel disrespected.

The NWU Vice President is Arthur Grant.

Mr. Grant says the industrial action may cause delays at several PetCom service stations across the country.

He says the situation has been made worse by PetCom’s pending divestment.
