The Kingston West Police have listed twenty-two people as Persons of Interest due to an ongoing gang conflict.

According to the police the men are affiliated with two gangs in Denham Town which are said to be at odds.

The police say the conflict has extended to several neighbouring communities in the division.

According to the police the warring factions are the Screamers Gang and the Young Generation Gang.

The police are asking these individuals allegedly affiliated with the Screamers Gang to turn themselves in to the Denham Town Police by 6:00 p.m., tomorrow Friday, Feb 5.

Richard Ellis, otherwise called ‘Bowya’

Shaquille Davis, otherwise called ‘Tika’

Shamoriz Williams, otherwise called ‘Gadzilla’

Roberto Moreland, otherwise called ‘Pilot’

Oshane Stewart, otherwise called ‘Nerro Blacks’

Renardo Phipps, otherwise called ‘Fry Eye’

Devon Sullivan, otherwise called ‘Caffy’

Shamel White, otherwise called ‘Gov’

Cedric Gooden, otherwise called ‘Sledge’

A man known only as ‘Dumplin’;

and a man known only as ‘Pawgie’

The police are asking these individuals allegedly affiliated with the Young Generation Gang to turn themselves in to the Denham Town Police by 6:00 p.m., tomorrow Friday, Feb 5.

They are:

Andrew Lloyd Coke, otherwise called ‘Raheem’

Lester Coke

Narado Kirkpatrick, otherwise called ‘Cheesetrix Man’

Nakeem Kirkpatrick, otherwise called ‘OJ’

Dwayne Grant, otherwise called ‘Billy’

A man known only as ‘Blue’

A man known only as ‘Will’

A man known only as ‘Little T’

A man known only as ‘Lollipop’;

and a man known only as ‘Den Den’.

The ongoing conflict has seen a sharp rise in murders and shootings in West Kingston.

There were 15 murders in the division at the end of January this year, a 275% increase from the four people killed in the division over the similar period in January 2020.

In one of the latest high profile incidents a reputed ex-lieutenant of former west Kingston don Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke was killed on Sunday.

He’s Harry McLeod otherwise called ‘Harry Dog’.

Following his killing criminals allegedly told shoppers and business operators in the busy shopping district of downtown Kingston to leave the area.

In light of those reports on Tuesday, the Jamaica Urban Transit Company, JUTC, increased their fleet to the area so commuters could get home.
