Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith, says progress has been made in settling Jamaica’s grievances regarding the mistreatment of our citizens entering the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Recently concerns were raised after several Jamaicans denied entry to the Twin Island Republic complained of mistreatment.
Minister Johnson Smith says the Trinidadian government has committed to improving facilities at Piarco International airport as well as the sensitization of it’s immigration staff.
