Queen’s Counsel, and former Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions, Caroline Hay says the main contention about the Trafigura case was if it should be held in open court.

Speaking during Nationwide at 5 Monday afternoon, Queen’s Counsel Hay says the case is being made public because of the nature of the allegations.

Ms. Hay says it serves the best interest of the public to discuss the case in public.

She explained that there is no evidence to support that  hearing the matter in open court  will jeopardize the outcome of the case.
