President of the West Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, SDA, Pastor Glen Samuels, is urging religious stakeholders to do more to help fight the nation’s crime problem.
Pastor Samuels says the church should play its role in being a voice for the public.
Pastor Samuels says society also has an import role to play in reducing crime and violence.
He’s also challenging the security forces to be their best as they seek to enforce the law.
Pastor Samuels is calling on the government to ensure the security forces are given the best environment to carry out their duties.
He was addressing a West Jamaica Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists 2nd annual security forces and youth mentorship prayer breakfast at the Seventh Day Adventist Conference Centre in St James on Sunday.
