Nationwide News understands that a senior officer of the Jamaica Defence Force, JDF, has been ordered to vacate his premises at the JDF headquarters amid investigations into a claim that he sexually assaulted a female member of the force.

It’s understood that the female is his subordinate.

Efforts to contact the JDF were unsuccessful, as the phones were either busy or unanswered.

Nationwide News understands that the senior soldier is at or near the rank of colonel.
