Clean up your act or face heavy measures!

That’s the warning from Transport Minister, Audley Shaw, to public passenger vehicle operators.

Minister Shaw told Nationwide News in an interview this afternoon, that the chaos on the roads cannot be allowed to continue.

He says the government will be imposing severe sanctions to hold to account those in breach.

Minister Shaw’s warning comes amid complaints about public passenger vehicle operators overcharging commuters and breaching the road traffic law.

Minister Shaw says proposals for an increase in bus and taxi fares are still being reviewed.
