Former second Vice President of the Jamaica Civil Service Association, JCSA, Gillian Corrodus, says she’s facing slander from some members within the Association in the race for the next President.
The first set of voting is underway at electoral offices across the island.
They begun this morning at 8AM.
Another round of voting is scheduled to take place at electoral offices in Kingston and St. Andrew on May 26.
Ms. Corrodus says members of the JCSA should rise up against, what she calls, tyranny in the Association.

She says a discussion has not been held on the matter to date with those responsible.
Meanwhile, President of the Jamaica Civil Service Association, JCSA, O’Neil Grant says he is not aware of any tyranny in the association.
Mr. Grant says Ms. Corrodus should bring her issues to him so he can handle the matter.
Mr. Grant says Ms. Corrodus’ campaign has been to attack the JCSA.
