Jamaica’s Foreign Minister, Kamina Johnson Smith, says some Jamaican students in parts of China have taken precautionary measures and are returning home.

The Foreign Minister says they’ve identified some thirteen Jamaicans living in Wuhan, China, and are in communication with them.

She says the Ministry will also be setting up an emergency number for Jamaicans in China today.

Minister Johnson Smith says the Jamaican embassy in China will be open today, despite the Spring Festival holiday, in order to assist Jamaicans in that country.
