Coach of Jamaica’s senior men’s football team, Rudolph Speid, has blamed indiscipline for the Reggae Boyz’s 1-0 defeat to 10-man Honduras in their Concacaf Nations League League A, Group B encounter at the National Stadium, on Monday.
Keyrol Figueroa scored the decisive goal in the 14th minute, ending Honduras’ 13-year winless drought against Jamaica.
Speid says the Jamaicans failed to follow the game plan, allowing Honduras to take control of the contest.
The visitors held on for all three points despite being reduced to 10 men in the 68th minute when Dereck Moncada was sent off.
Speid says Honduras showed greater determination to secure the victory.

The defeat leaves Jamaica fourth in the six-team Group B standings.
The Reggae Boyz will look to respond on Friday when they travel to face El Salvador, before meeting Honduras again next Monday in Tegucigalpa.
