Nationwide News understands that some staff members at the Opposition People’s National Party, PNP’s headquarters are facing job cuts.

This after our newscentre obtained a copy of a letter purportedly issued on the party’s letterhead sent to one of its workers.

The letter dated September 10, 2020 is allegedly stamped by the party’s General Secretary, Julian Robinson.

It cites the loss of the September 3 General Elections and a reduction in the number of the party’s successful candidates and notes that the income of the Secretariat would fall signifcantly.

The letter also notes that in an effort to realign expenses to meet the party’s income, they’ll be making some jobs redundant.

The letter also advised the employee to whom it was addressed that he was one of the persons to be made redundant.
